Healthy- Your Wedding Week Diet

Sodium is the worst enemy for your wedding week diet. You have enough anxiety and last minute hurdles to make you yank your hair out. The last thing you need is an out of control wedding week diet that leaves you bloated, puffy, and feeling miserable all over. While losing the last pound or two to make your dress look fabulous may still be your primary wedding week diet concern, it is important to consider a few ways to keep the bloat out of your belly.

The best thing you can do for your wedding week diet is to avoid fast food. Even with healthier selections that normally fit into your daily calories or other diet guidelines, there is virtually nothing on those menus that is not packed with salt. An overdose of salt even once or twice could be enough to start your body swelling with excess water, which could be hard to get rid of by the end of this wedding week diet. Even salads can have chicken and other ingredients that are loaded with salt, so be careful if you do have to eat out.

Of course, you want to avoid adding salt to your food while on this time sensitive wedding week diet and pass on snacks such as popcorn. Even if you normally salt everything that passes your lips, it will benefit your goals to stay away from the shaker for one very important week.

The most important wedding week diet tip is to drink all the water you can possibly get down. Water will not only help flush out any extra water weight you may be carrying, but it can do wonders for your complexion and the glow of your skin. Squeeze in a little fresh lemon juice if you have to, but the more water you get into your body this week the better you are going to look and feel when its time to forget the wedding week diet and get on with the rest of your life.
